The Jesse Salinas scholarship fund was created in honor of founder, Jesse Salinas. Jesse was born on the island and proudly attended Ball High School. The education Jesse received served as the foundation for developing a successful career in his chosen vocation until his passing in 2022. This scholarship is offered in recognition of his legacy to Galveston students graduating to attend a vocation or trade school.
