What is required to participate?
- Must participate in at least 3 parades
- Golf carts must be decorated in annual theme – Louisiana Bayou
- Decor must include lights and have a topper that is a minimum of 3ft high
- All cart riders must dress in Mardi Gaudi attire for each parade
- Carts must be insured and registered

Who is Krewe du Karts:
Krewe du Kartz, is a Texas non-profit, founded in 2024. The purpose of the organization is to promote Mardi Gras festivities on Galveston Island within the Galveston Golf Cart Society organization’s mission to raise scholarship funds and to support the City of Galveston.
Items may be picked up at a Krewe Du Kartz meeting.
